The latest Amazon PS5 restock has turned out to be catastrophic for some buyers who failed to purchase Sony's console, particularly the Digital Edition.
Although the supplies were distributed ahead of the restock schedule, getting this next-gen gaming machine remains harder as expected. It's even more challenging when scalpers steal the moment for the aspiring PlayStation 5 owners.
Amazon PS5 Buyers Are Disappointed
Amazon buyers are complaining about the recent PS5 restock that took place in the shop.
Prior to the official schedule, many people are excited to buy this gaming console since they missed the previous restocks from other retailers. Apparently, not all customers who checked out the product early managed to succeed in copping it.
As Comicbook spotted, some people found out that their PS5s have disappeared from their carts in the final step of the buying process.
The Twitter Fiasco About Amazon PS5 Restock
Over Twitter, several individuals who attempted to order a PlayStation 5 console from Amazon ended up dismayed by the latest event.
According to one user who claimed that he hasn't posted anything on Twitter in the past years, the recent PS5 restock on Amazon was absolutely "atrocious" to have dealt with.
Another person wrote that getting a PS5 from the e-commerce giant should not be this hard because of the ample supplies.
Since April Fool's is just around the corner, one user used this iconic celebration as a reference to what recently took place in Amazon.
"I see you got your April fool's in early this year with that joke of a PS5 drop," the person commented.
In another complaint, a woman raised her concern regarding the bots that swarmed the latest PS5 drop on Amazon. Another said that it was indeed a "nightmare" to remember for the customers.
Speaking of Prime Membership, one buyer wrote that Amazon did not let him cop a PS5 despite being a subscriber to its Premium offer. He added that an error appeared upon checking out the PlayStation 5 console.
@amazon You should be ashamed of yourselves. Saying PS5 will be available for Prime members then not letting it go available unless you know a secret way to get into your cart. then when i did get into cart your page would error out! this is how you treat your prime members?

A similar incident happened to another person who already had a PS5 in his cart. Unfortunately, when he hit checkout, the page crashed unexpectedly.
