This year's Prime Day will take place on July 12th and 13th. Particularly, it will be starting at 12 a.m. PT/3 a.m. ET on Tuesday, July 12, and ending at the end of the day on Wednesday, July 13.

Prime Day, as in previous years, will be a two-day event during which Prime members may save on anything from electronics to fashion to Amazon's very own devices and products.

As noted by Engadget, the Prime Day has been observed in different seasons during the last two years, owing to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Amazon had to push Prime Day back to October in 2020, but it made up for it last year by celebrating it in June. Now, it appears that Amazon is returning to its regular programming by holding its huge shopping event in July, the same month as previous Prime Days.

Amazon Prime Day, in particular, offers exclusive deals to Prime members. The company is using the shopping event to boost sales and urge consumers to sign up for Prime.

However, since Amazon increased the price of Prime to $139 in February, it may be more difficult to sell this year than in previous years.

According to the e-commerce company, there will be more products that Prime members can buy this year compared to 2021.

"Customers will be able to shop products from top national brands and more third-party sellers than last year's Prime Day, including many small and medium-sized businesses," the company wrote in a press release.
