There's a new "Cyberpunk 2077" game that you need to watch out for later. Unlike the original installment, which depicts more drama and action, this game is unlike no other. Yes, it's the upcoming board game that you might enjoy soon, especially if you are a fan of tabletop RPGs.

According to IGN, CD Projekt Red has turned "Cyberpunk 2077" into a board game. 

As we know, the Polish game developer has previously released a tabletop role-playing title under the "Cyberpunk" franchise. It should be noted that this board game is not based on it but on the "Cyberpunk 2077" itself.

The dystopian journey will continue but in a unique mode that you can play. Instead of facing your nemeses online, you will meet them on a board along with other iconic characters such as Jackie Welles and, of course, Johnny Silverhand, the legendary Edgerunner.

"Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City is a competitive game in which 1 to 4 players take on the role of ruthless gangs vying for control of the underground in the glittering hellhole that is Night City. Clash with other Gangs in the meat or on the Net, as your enterprising band of toughs seeks to gain dominance over the criminal underworld that rules the streets. Only the boldest will be remembered, and your Street Cred will pave your way to the top," the game description reads via CMON.

Braving the Night City won't be easy as you will be forced to battle with the greatest threats in the dangerous areas. You need your gang to survive and fight with other groups in the criminal underworld.

'Cyberpunk 2077' Board Game on Kickstarter

If you want to go all-in with this game, you can visit the official website of Kickstarter for more details. As per Gaming Bible, you can receive nice rewards if you support this project from CD Projekt Red.

As such, you are set to obtain cool miniatures of mixed characters in the game. These include V (both in male and female versions), Sandra Dorsett, and more.

As of press time, $291,232 has been pledged already on the website. It has already exceeded its goal of $100,000. 

There are still 13 days left to support this project. More than 3,900 backers have already backed this game as of Friday, June 24.

Regarding its release, we expect to see the "Cyberpunk 2077: Gangs of Night City" arrive somewhere in 2023.

Earlier this month, Tech Times reported that CD Projekt Red had dropped the most recent trailer for the upcoming "Cyberpunk: Endrunners" anime.

According to the game creator, the film will be released on Netflix. The movie adaptation might be the developer's answer to compensate for the game's rocky launch.
