Keanu Reeves is part of a new startup, and this time, it is about non-fungible tokens (NFTs), which he now serves as an advisor to a friend. The new startup is called "Futurverse Foundation," It aims to debut contemporary digital art for the world to see, appreciate, and trade. However, some doubt him because of his past statement about his confusion about NFTs.

Keanu Reeves is an Advisor for an NFT Company Now

The Futureverse Foundation from Alexandra Grant and Nana Oforiatta-Ayim is a new startup platform that aims to bring NFTs and digital tokens for everyone to enjoy. One of the most prominent names to join the company is a famous action star and the world's favorite Hollywood geek, Keanu Reeves, who serves as an advisor for the company.

In a press release by the Foundation, Grant and Reeves are working together to ensure that this venture arrives for everyone's needs and use of the tokens, to trade online.

Non-Fungible Labs, a New Zealand-based NFT and blockchain technology company, is also a part of this venture, launching the Futurverse Foundation together with Grant and Reeves.

Reeves is Previously Confused about the NFT Industry

In the previous year, during an interview for "The Matrix: Resurrections," Keanu Reeves sat in front of the crowd and was asked a question regarding innovations in the market. The Verge asked Reeves regarding NFT and cryptocurrencies, with the actor saying that the entire market confuses him, and some of the assets he owns are in "HODL."

NFT and Cryptocurrency Now

Many companies venture into NFTs and cryptocurrency now, and there are talks regarding the "NFT Summer" going alongside the opposed "cryptocurrency winter" in the market. Despite this, NFTs are booming in the industry, and significant companies with massive names, including Burberry, are focusing their ventures on the digital platform.

Another non-believer of NFTs is the famous Bill Gates from Microsoft, and he said that it is based on the "Greater Fool Theory," which talks about someone seeing more value in an item, like antiques. Reeves may be a believer, but the so-called "geek" of the internet also has a hard time in the whole NFT and cryptocurrency business despite owning some of it.

Despite his previous statement on NFTs, it seems that Reeves has been brushing up on his knowledge and understanding of the tokens, currently serving as an advisor on the startup platform. The Futurverse Foundation is a new platform for all, and it aims to bring different NFTs from Alexandra Grant, along with other creations in the digital world.
