SAN FRANCISCO, CA - FEBRUARY 11: TM Roh (L) of Samsung shakes hands with Hiroshi Lockheimer of Google on February 11, 2020 in San Francisco, California.

Google app's Hum to Search was highlighted in the new ad where Google Search was able to identify the hum quickly and sent it to a nearby Samsung television. After a slew of examples, the video ad ends by identifying the Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy Watch 4 with Google Assistant.

There's also a website that accompanies the campaign: "Focus and fun. Get it all done with Google.

Share moments together, seamlessly connect your devices, and discover more of what you love with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold3 5G."

It Doesn't Only Happen on Online Ads

Google and Samsung's ads don't just appear online. They can also be seen in theaters before a movie. And it has been really effective as it spreads more awareness.

The ads are targeted toward people who are more open to technology. These ads also show the versatility of Samsung hardware and software while highlighting the advanced features of Google's productivity apps.

The Relationship Between Samsung and Google is Getting Better

The relationship between Google and Samsung has gotten better over the years. They used to be in a vicious competition over the years. But now, they are working together on more projects.

This is a good sign for the Android ecosystem as Google and Samsung are able to work together to improve user experience and bring new innovations.

It is clear that Google gives Samsung preferential treatment, and the reason may be strategic, according to Android Central. An obvious reason is the popularity of Samsung phones. Even though there are many manufacturers that use Google's OS, in the past years, it's highly noticeable that Google often pushes certain software first to Samsung before it goes to other companies.

One of the most recent ones is with the Wear OS 3 and the partnership to bring it to Samsung's Galaxy Watch 4.

With Google and Samsung's relationship getting better and better, consumers should expect to see more of these types of ads. There's no telling if the two companies will expand their relationship even further. But it's certainly possible.

It will be interesting to see how consumers will respond if Google and Samsung go further than advertised.
