The map is a full view of the planet and captures the current state it is in, along with the craters, rocks, and erosions that the on-ground rovers see.
The data is available on the Planetary Data System from NASA, and it hosts the first segment or part of the map that the MRO brought to the world. It brings a different look to the planet, as it is more than an image that shows what it looks like in space.
It presents the entirety of Mars and brings what future expeditions would need to successfully navigate the Red Planet, like what early cartographers developed for the Earth.
