The Apple Watch Series 8 is the next wearable technology from the Cupertino company. Still, according to reports from an Apple insider, it would not be the only release that comes later this year. There is an upcoming device, and it would be with the Apple Watch "Extreme Sports" version that would be its rugged wearable watch for active users.
Apple Watch 'Extreme Sports' Version: What Is it?

Apple kept its smartwatch ventures to two versions only since its release. One is with the regular Apple Watch that is for the regular use and fitness, and the other is the Apple Watch SE for, the more affordable version for the public. However, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, it is now focusing on an "Extreme Sports" version for a more rugged feel.
The report talked about the new watch, one of the latest developments for the upcoming Apple Watch series, focusing on the sportier version of the device. Gurman claims it to have a better battery life that would last longer than the average watch, as well as a more prominent face that would give more information to the user.
It will also come with a metal casing, unlike the bare Apple Watch releases.

Apple Watch Series 8 and its Release
The Apple Watch Series 8 is the next in line for Apple, and it is something that the company will release alongside the iPhone 14 that is coming this year. Of course, these are all part of the expectations that Apple would bring soon, and typically, these devices are not yet confirmed or revealed by the company.
Still, it is unknown if the Extreme Version will come soon despite the speculations.
Apple Watch Series 8 Coming Soon
There is an upcoming watch from Samsung, and the return of the "Active" line from the company brings the rugged version of its smartwatches that users may utilize for outdoor activities. Allegedly, it is the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Active that aims to rival that of Apple and Google's fitness watches that are coming soon.
Apple is focusing on the better use of its Apple Watch through its watchOS 9, which aims to bring the latest features of the watch for more information on the body and tracking different happenings. However, not all will be available here as the watch's hardware has certain limitations for bringing something like the fever monitor.
Nevertheless, a new watch is allegedly coming from Apple, and it would bring a version that will focus on outdoor and activities that would help the user worry less about their devices and more about their affairs. The Apple Watch Series 8 and the Extreme Sports version will bring a new phase for Apple's wearable technology if the new version is to come.
