MacRumors reported a future price increase for the famous wearable technology from Meta, and the Quest 2 VR headset will be $100 more expensive for the public's purchase. The price change would come by August 1, and gamers or enthusiasts that purchase it now may still get it from its original price.
Current prices are at their original offers for the 128GB variant at $299 starting price and $399 for the 256GB variant from Meta.
However, all that would change in the coming week, especially as August would take place on the coming Monday the following week.

Meta Quest 2 VR: No Updates But Sees New Prices
