Matthias Siems is a high-level entrepreneur and the founder of Taru Group, a family-run company that specializes in managing investments primarily in healthcare, medical tech and cryptocurrency. Over the last decade, Siems has built a nine-figure portfolio and his key to success is simple. Based on the simple premise that technology can permanently improve people's lives, he looks to invest in companies that are developing innovative technology to improve the world.

Although his journey officially started in 2007, Siems' passion for business began when he was a young boy. By the time he was a teenager, he had already started money with various ventures. A highlight of this time was developing an innovative hoof scratch, a horse grooming tool, that he successfully patented and sold to two of the largest sports accessories companies in the world. After graduating high school, he attended university. Although he was a dedicated student and scored high marks, he credits "hanging out with rich people" as an essential part of his education. "I loved being surrounded by rich people. I learned how they thought and worked." The number one thing that he learned was that the differences between himself and the wealthy were very small. "The more I got to know them, I figured that they are ordinary people who can add 1+1. That's when I started focusing on myself."

His dedication to bettering himself paid off. In 2007, he took over his first investment company. A year later, he sold the company and bought a license to produce medical cannabis. This was the beginning of him doing business on a large scale. After eight years of building up this business, he would sell the entire company for a handsome profit. With money in the bank, he was ready to start the next chapters in his entrepreneurial journey. Using the funds from the sale of his medical cannabis company, he immediately turned to invest his time and energy in companies that were working to make a difference.

Part of his success is due to his ability to connect the perfect investor to a new venture.

By partnering with universities and startups, Siems has built a network that gives Taru Group access to startups and experts that are using technology to build innovative solutions in the medical space. This gives him the ability to connect investors and entrepreneurs that align well with the mission and vision for the project.

Currently, the Taru Group has funded several enterprises that are looking to develop innovative treatments for cardiology. "We have invested with companies that are looking to develop artificial intelligence programs and software that will help perform cardiological interventions. Our goal is to create sustainable medicine and treatment, particularly in the field of cardiology." Through his continued investments in this area, Siems hopes to help provide the world with a cure to some of the most common medical issues around the world - cardiovascular disease. "Strokes, heart attacks.... These diseases are on the rise around the world. It must be corrected with innovative heart medicine and technology."
