Tesla Supercharger Station's Solar-Powered Pool Opens in Germany! Here's What Drivers Need to Access It

The Tesla Supercharger Network received another amenity that will take the boredom off drivers going on long trips. However, as of writing, this one is only available in Germany.

The new solar-powered pool in a Tesla Supercharger station in Hilden, Germany, was successfully integrated on Monday, Aug. 1.

The Ladepark Kreuz Hilden owner, Roland Schuren, said that it was the automaker's idea to put the solar-powered pool.

"We all are working together, the three partners with Fastned, Tesla, and Seed & Greet, on the beautiness of the site, on the user convenience," said David Reich.

According to Business Insider's latest report, Tesla's team informed Schuren that they will provide the needed things for the pool to run.

Aside from this, the electric charging station owner added that Tesla also offers towels that visitors can freely use. Even security and safety are taken care of by the EV maker.

There is also a local dry cleaner in case visitors have no extra clothes. This just shows that the automaker is making efforts to make its Supercharger Network stations more enjoyable.

Just imagine taking a dip in a pool after a long drive on the hot road. Now, what does the new solar-powered pool look like?

Tesla's New Solar-Powered Pool

In the video published by the YouTube channel Tesla Welt Podcast, which also interviewed Schuren, the new solar-powered pool is a rectangular, black container.

On its side, the official Tesla logo (in letters) is shown. Schuren also said that they are putting black beach balls in the pool so that kids can enjoy it even more.

The owner further shared that the arrival of the eco-friendly pool makes managing the electric charging station business more enjoyable.

If you are living in Germany and want to try the new solar-powered amenity, all you need to do is show your Tesla app to the available staff.

Just make sure that you are really charging at the Tesla Supercharger station. The new pool is just one of the amenities being integrated by Tesla into its advanced charging stations.
