The information comes from the famous Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, which claimed that there would be a significant price change to this release of the smartphone.
Apple iPhone 14: Price Increase by 15 Percent Says Analyst

Renowned analyst and insider, Ming-Chi Kuo, said in his recent tweet that there would be a price increase for the iPhone 14 lineup that would extend to all the four releases of the device. There are no confirmations yet from Apple, but it is something to expect for the iPhone 14 lineup, with as much as 15 percent more than its previous selling price.
Kuo attributed this new price increase to Hon Hai or Foxconn's latest growth for the second quarter of the year, with the recent announcement of the company's progress.
Hon Hai said that it achieved its highest revenue for the second quarter, with its performance seeing a "growing" trend, instead of the "roughly flat" predictions.
iPhone 14 Pro: Starting with 256GB Storage Space
In another report, TrendForce claimed that the iPhone 14 Pro lineup would start with a 256GB storage space for the higher tier versions of the new smartphone. It would apply to both the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max releases from the company.
However, it would not apply to the iPhone 14 and the larger version that it would bring in the coming release, with speculations seeing its release with a 128GB base storage offer from Apple.
Apple and the iPhone 14
The world is awaiting the arrival of the iPhone 14, and many are expecting the smartphone event by September or the Fall event that the company will bring to the world. There are several indications for it from different reports, particularly with Apple China giving discounts to the iPhone 13 lineup as part of its preparation for the new device.
Initial rumors claim that the iPhone 14 would not deviate much from the previous pricing of the iPhone 13when it launched, and it would give the world the same price tag for the four-device lineup coming soon. However, there are conflicting reports as a price hike is reportedly coming for the new release that speculates on a more than $100 increase.
Nevertheless, the world is already waiting for the release of the latest smartphone from Apple, and it aims to bring more there is to the experience for the new device. The iPhone 14 will not change a lot from the iPhone 13, but there are claims that it would have more features than the 2021 release that Cupertino brought with the 13.
