"Fall Guys" is announcing their "Sonic the Hedgehog" themed level and event. The news was shared with a video showing numerous "Sonic" characters, including Dr. Eggman.

'Fall Guys' is Introducing a 'Sonic'-Themed Event

The official "Fall Guys" Twitter account shared a video of Sonic, Eggman, Tails, Knuckles, and Super Sonic. Per the announcement, they are all available in the "Fall Guys" store.

The announcement of the new characters comes with a "Sonic"-themed level and event to make the game more interesting since it relives both the animation and a lot of game dynamics coming from the original "Sonic."

Event Runs from Aug. 11 to 15 with New Level called Bean Hill Zone

On top of the characters, players will get to collect rings just like in the original games but with the "Fall Guys" twist wherein they have to make sure they don't just fall around. The Sonic event will reportedly take place from Aug. 11 until 15.

As per the official announcement on their website, it was noted that players would have to run through the five-day event with a brand new level known as the Bean Hill Zone. Players will get new costumes, challenges, and even rings for them to follow the iconic hedgehog.

Players will have to Get 1000 Points to Unlock Different Iconic Items and Perks

The announcement notes that players will be able to use muscle memory in order to play the level since it mirrors a lot of the mechanics coming from the original SEGA Genesis title. The aim of the level/game is to be able to collect as many rings as possible in order to play the next round.

To add, players will also be able to get Nameplates, Kudos, and the iconic Sonic sneakers for grabs. In order to do this, players will have to sprint to the finish line in order to get 1000 points.

How to Unlock Rewards for Sonic Event in 'Fall Guys'

According to an article by Eurogamer, every Sonic challenge will give players 100 points when they complete it. This means they have to complete a total of ten challenges in order to unlock all of the Sonic Adventure rewards.

Players will be able to click on the "Claim reward" button once they have gotten enough points from trying out the Gotta Go Fast type of game. This will help them ensure the addition of cosmetics and Kudos to their collection before the event ends.
