Another platform arcade game revival is coming next year. Toys and video game company Taito announces that cute dragons Bub and Bob will be heading their way to the Switch for a new four-player bubble bursting game.
This time, our cute little dragon friends will be joined by two new dragons, Peb and Pab. In this new game called "Puzzle Bobble Everybubble!," four players will be aiming for bubbles of the same color in order to pop them.
According to Nintendo Life, players will have to argue over which dragon they want to play because this new game will be the first in the series to include a four-player cooperative story mode.
To give you a picture of what this game is all about, think about bubble shooter arcade games where players match three or more bubbles of the same color to clear them off the screen until they run out.

Players must be able to pop all the bubbles on the board before the bubbles get too low. Some editions of games in the same genre feature power-ups that, when popped, grant the players with game-deciding extra abilities.
'Puzzle Bobble Everybubble!' Is Coming to Switch in 2023
Unlike many other game titles released today, this edition of the Bubble Bobble game does not involve any mind-boggling mechanics or over-the-top graphics that can sometimes make you feel woozy. Players can just relax while they embark on a color-matching adventure.
Maybe this is all we all need, a break from playing overly-competitive games. In the latest gameplay trailer, we are already calmed by the game's adorable sound bites. Also, while we watch dragons Bub, Bob, Peb, and Pab pop balloons enveloping the screen, we see a peaceful picture of a farming town in the background.
According to the game developer Taito, "Puzzle Bobble Everybubble!" is not your ordinary bubble shooter game because the game comes along with an adorable storyline involving the four little dragons mentioned earlier.
The game is set in a world called Rainbow Island where bubbles mysteriously appeared one day. Users will be playing as one of the four dragons tasked to stop the bubbles from totally taking over their island. To do this, dragons Bub, Bob, Peb, and Pab will need to rescue residents of Rainbow island trapped in the bubble invasion by popping all the bubbles they can.
'Puzzle Bobble Everybubble!' Supports Multiplayer
Have fun solving bubble puzzles with the help of your charming dragon bubble shooters. Not only that, you can bring in three more friends to join in the fun as "Puzzle Bobble Everybubble!" supports multiplayer mode.
This announcement from the Japanese video game company comes along with the celebration of Bub's birthday. Just to point out, Bub is the green bubble popper dragon.
Eurogamer tells us that this new Puzzle Bobble game was first teased back in December 2021 when game director Tsuyoshi Tozaki and level designer Hidetaka Iyomasa released a video discussing the said game.
