As of writing, many smartphone owners still have trouble whenever their devices are out of battery. Imagine you are out on a road trip, and your handset suddenly runs out of power. 

This will completely ruin your day since you will be unable to contact your friends or families. But, the new Huawei Mate 50 is expected to change this scenario. 

Now, here's what you need to know about the new Emergency Battery Mode feature.

According to Mashable's latest report, the new Huawei Mate 50 will have the advanced Harmony OS3.

This advanced smartphone operating system will deliver the new Emergency Battery Power feature. 

This new enhancement was confirmed in the smartphone's official trailer. 

"Even when your phone has run out of battery, your phone still has the energy to go further," said the video's slogan. 

The new Emergency Battery Feature is specifically designed to allow the upcoming Huawei Mate 50 series to make calls and scan QR codes even when there's no battery power.

Huawei Mate 50's Other Details

Aside from the new Emergency Battery Mode feature, there are also other advanced enhancements for the upcoming Huawei Mate 50 that you should look forward to. 

Among these are camera sensors that have a variable aperture, as reported by GSM Arena. For the past few years, most Android device cameras have fixed apertures. 

Now, the new Huawei Mate 50 is expected to be different from them since its aperture can be adjusted between f/1.4 and f/4. Thanks to this, consumers can have more control over the depth of field of their captured images. 

The Chinese smartphone maker will share other advanced features of its new Huawei Mate 50 once the device is launched at an event scheduled on Sept. 6. 

In other news, Huawei's sales recently declined after the tech manufacturer grappled with the U.S. sanctions. 

On the other hand, Huawei Nova 10 Pro's 5x front camera zoom enhancement was revealed.
