Visitors walk past the Android stand at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona on February 25, 2019. - Phone makers will focus on foldable screens and the introduction of blazing fast 5G wireless networks at the world's biggest mobile fair starting February 25 in Spain as they try to reverse a decline in sales of smartphones.

Google will provide a line by not combining the employees' work and personal through these updates. Not only does it has many features that can benefit them, but Google Work profiles will also provide a smoother experience, a fresh minimalist design, and increased productivity.

The company stated, "With each new release, Android Enterprise's security protections get even stronger with new management capabilities, user controls, and platform improvements."

What's New and What to Expect

The Android Management API improves its services as it manages the device policies as per Android Central. Through this new update, customization based on employees' experiences, such as device provisioning and user settings, can be done on corporate devices.

This new feature will be useful to the workers as it separates the personal or work profiles, like recommending based on your watchlists on Youtube for personal use. An option of having two galleries on the device can also be used, one for work and one for personal use.

Android 13 also provided a new feature, smart dictation to work profile apps for Pixel users. Through this, words or jargon that have been used in any corporate setting will be out of personal chats.

The encryption of data is also improved as the new feature allows employees to conveniently manage their security in their own devices and privacy settings. This will allow them to see what the company admins are seeing in your data and what they restrict on your device that they provided.

As per National Information Assurance Partnership, security logs for Wifi, Bluetooth, and password activities will be added as admins also have more control over Wifi connectivity through these devices.

Along with the improvements and more new features to the Work Profiles, the company stated that an option for employees will be given when opening an application, either a personal profile or the work profile. This will set apart contents to one another from different platforms.

Coming Soon on Android 13

New features will be added soon for the Android 13 that will make the employees' experience much better. Two have already been unveiled by the company on the blog spot

The Lost Mode will make users' data lockdown and locate company-owned devices once it is activated. This will prevent accessing data from unauthorized persons. It will also display the company contact information on the device screen once it is triggered.

The Stay Private on Work Wifi will also improve its own security by encrypting and routing network traffic from profiles that are personal, especially when using a company Wifi. This will automatically secure your data once it is activated.
