Meta dissolved one of its significant teams from its workforce and is the "Responsible Innovation" team which acts as overseers of its products and developments from within the company. The team's removal is a part of the company layoffs that Meta is doing to reallocate the budget and focus of the company, focusing on different ventures from here on out.

According to a report by MarketWatch, Meta is now restructuring and laying off employees that will bring smaller teams to center on its ethical product reviews and overseeing board. It is dissolving of the Responsible Innovation team is already in place says the reports, to focus on the better allocation of its funds and budget.

Many corporate layoffs and restructuring fill up the news now, and most technology companies center on these to better allocate their focus and budget for other projects present. There is no information as to what will have the budget from Meta, but there are many products and projects from the company that will arrive soon for the world that will need its utmost attention.

Meta VR Launch Coming, No More Ethical Team

According to Android Central, the news of this company's layoffs comes ahead of the planned launch of Project Cambria, the latest device coming from Meta that it already been confirmed for a world launch soon. The alleged Oculus Quest Pro device will center on delivering the latest offers of the company for VR headset tech, with smaller groups and teams to focus on its ethical responsibilities for all. 

Meta's Products and Developments

Meta is now seeing a major restructuring of its products, developments, and its company, with the many changes in its features for its diverse social media portfolio available for all. One of the social media features shutting down from the company is "Neighborhoods," and it is now unavailable a year after its launch, with its goal of connecting the nearby community. 

Still, there is a massive focus on its new products coming to the world, particularly with the Project Cambria VR headset that its top executive, Mark Zuckerberg, confirmed for the world. The company is already reinforcing the VR headsets for the world, with the focus on its metaverse coming soon which centers on the new digital space.

Dissolving its Responsible Innovation team may be a big risk for the company that centers on new devices, especially for its VR, but Meta said there are smaller groups that could handle it for their needs.
