Access PS VR Games Through Old Tech

The only way to access the old games is by owning the original PlayStation VR, and through the old console, gamers who enjoy the previous titles would be able to use it. The new PS VR 2 would seemingly void old transactions and purchases with this new focus, as it would no longer provide backward compatibility, unlike PS4 to PS5.

Sony PS VR 2's Upcoming Release

The PlayStation VR 2 is soon providing a significant device to the company's console gamers as it extends the experience to the virtual world, centering on the upcoming feature for all. The latest confirmation from Sony claims that only titles optimized or made for the PS VR 2 will play on the device, and it means people would have to say goodbye to other games and their career progress.

Sony already announced a release date for the new VR headset it will bring for the PS5, and it will arrive by early 2023, with no specific dates for its upcoming drop. It is a device highly anticipated by PlayStation gamers who aim to have a different experience with their console gaming, incorporating both the virtual world into their entertainment.

The upcoming release of the PS VR 2 will see to it that it will be exclusive to gamers-a feature so exclusive that it will also gatekeep the new device from old PS VR titles to play on the upcoming wearable. From this moment on, gamers are given a chance to save up for the new games arriving soon for the next-gen headset.
