Google Pixel 7, 7 Pro Prices Leaked

As per the latest report by GSM Arena, Google is about to showcase its all-new flagship Pixel phones this October 6 on its Made by Google event.

And while we are still several days away from the special event, the prices of the upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro have apparently leaked online.

Google has teased the Pixel 7 series on its Facebook page, showing renders of how the next-generation smartphone would actually look once it debuts.

It sure still looks quite the same as the Pixel 6. However, there are a few refinements and updates. For instance, GSM Arena highlights that the curves on its display are now more subtle than its older sibling. Yet, it still rocks the cyclops camera bar on its rear.

But despite that, the search engine giant has yet to formally reveal its pricing.

It is worth noting that the Apple flagship, the iPhone 14 series, retained its pricing from the iPhone 13, at least in the US. But is Google following the move of the Cupertino giant?

The leak says that the new Google Pixel 7, which carries the codename Panther, is retailing for $599. On the other hand, the higher-end Pixel 7 Pro costs to the tune of $899.

The leaker on Twitter, who goes by the name Artem Russakovskii, says that the pricing details come from trusted sources. And it appears that the Pixel 7 prices leaked straight from the giant retailer, Target.

Google Pixel 7 and 7 Pro prices have leaked online ahead of its upcoming launch during the MadeByGoogle event.

According to a report by The Verge, the leak suggests that Google is keeping the pricing, which the Pixel 6 series had, for its next-generation smartphone lineup, the Pixel 7.

The tech news outlet goes on to note that the pricing of the Pixel 6 phones competes well with other giant phone makers, such as Apple and Samsung.

It is worth mentioning that the latest iPhone 14 series starts at $799. The flagship device of Samsung, the Galaxy S22, also holds the same starting price.

But if the latest leak is to be taken at face value, it looks like the Pixel 7 is significantly cheaper at $599. However, do take this with a grain of salt as Google has yet to confirm any pricing details for its upcoming smartphone.
