Experts explained that this happens because the new iPhone operating systems are doing lots of things in Apple smartphones' backgrounds.

These include reindexing photos, files, applications, etc. But, the latest iOS 16 battery problem is quite unusual as the issue still remains for almost two weeks as of press time.

9To5Mac said that they surveyed to see who is still affected by the latest battery life bug on iOS 16.

Based on their findings, 63% of those who upgraded their iPhone systems to the latest version still experience drastic battery declines.

As of writing, Apple hasn't confirmed if they are already working on a fix. Previously, the giant gadget maker already launched iOS 16.0.2 to the public.

However, battery life improvements were not included. The best hope for iOS 16 users is iOS 16.1, which is still in beta testing.

Other Bugs in iOS 16

The US Sun reported other bugs that iOS 16 users also suffer from. One of these is the Bluetooth connectivity problem.

Aside from these, other iPhone users claimed that their internet connections were slower than usual.

Meanwhile, some iOS 16 users said that their GPS is not working properly since they upgraded to the latest iPhone operating system.

For the Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity issues, tech experts suggested resetting your network settings.

Of course, this method is still not 100% effective. But there's nothing wrong with trying. On the other hand, you can also try turning on and off the Airplane to fix the GPS issue somehow.
