Several days after Elon Musk announced that he is back on track for the Twitter deal, a new development from reports claims that the social media platform is refusing to accept the Tesla CEO's $44 billion bid. This change of heart will further delay the acquisition of Twitter's entirety over to Musk's team, but it is unknown what Twitter wants out of this refusal.

Musk took back his word after initially backing out of the deal regarding the much-hidden information in the said deal.

Reports are now centering on another turn of events for the Twitter sale to Elon Musk, as the social media company allegedly refused the deal for the revamped $44 billion. The Twitter camp did not reveal any information behind it, especially regarding its refusal in the present, where it became a massive topic on the internet.

And while Twitter is entitled to refuse Musk's offer to them, the famed Tesla CEO called this a "plot twist," and provided no further reactions from his latest tweet.

It seems like Musk is already aware of the refusal from Twitter, and his team would have to negotiate with the social media company again to push through with this venture.

Twitter is Not Pushing with Sale?

For now, it seems like Twitter is not pushing through with the sale, as the reported refusal of the company has had a massive effect on the course of this deal. Musk's team would have to do a little more convincing and talking with Twitter, particularly those who are on the deciding team to sell the company to the world's top billionaire.

Musk and Twitter's Deal

Elon Musk and Twitter are on a roller coaster ride, with each cart not catching up to the other, and both seem to fail on going on the same tracks that will further the deal with each other. Back in July, Musk already confirmed the cancelation of the supposed deal that would focus on him acquiring the entirety of Twitter.

This is because Twitter breached its terms and agreements, according to Musk, which pushed him and his counsel to cancel the deal with the company.

Musk's concern was legitimate, and it is because of the undisclosed number of bots that should supposedly be available on the documents given to each party participating. The acquisition team's lawyers said that Musk was reluctant on taking it as there was hidden information regarding it, which is grounds to break off the deal.

After this, lawsuits were thrown at each other, by both Musk and Twitter's parties.

However, most recently, Musk made it known that he is going back on the deal with Twitter, and it is to support his upcoming decentralized platform, X.com, an app for all. However, Twitter is now in a position of power and is essential to continuing on its initial deal and the renewed $44 billion which Musk offered, something that the company reportedly refused.
