The speculation for another event coming this month is from its annual timeline of events, one where Apple is also debuting new laptops and tablets for the tenth month of the year.
2022 is soon coming to an end, and people will expect more of Apple before the year expires and give a new start for all to look forward to on its new devices.

9to5Mac is claiming that new devices are coming for October, but it is not exactly an event from the company as it would focus on delivering these new hardware like drops. Still, this is an opportunity for Apple to save money for the event production but be able to deliver on new devices fit for its October schedule.
Bloomberg first reported that there will be no Apple October 2022 event this year, and while the reason for that is unknown, the company is still speculated to debut new tech for all.
It includes the upgraded MacBook Pro, which speculators claim to feature the new M2 processor to power the device, alongside the latest iPad Pro which may also have the same chipset. Still, the upcoming drops would center on iPads and MacBooks for all.

What Devices are Coming to the Apple Event?
A new MacBook Pro is coming with an updated chip, but reports on its design are unknown, particularly with the notch that it adopted in 2021, and MacBook Air 2022's new design as well. Additionally, it is unknown if there would also be an M2 integration for the Mac mini or Mac Studio coming this year.
However, the iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad mini are also speculated for an upgrade this year, something which would bring new options for users in their tablet needs.
Apple and its Famed Events
Apple is famous for its annual events, particularly as it holds almost the same schedule year after year for its showcase of the many devices it aims to deliver to the market. One of the famed events present is the September iPhone event, which took place last month and was up to schedule to bring the latest iPhone 14 for all.
However, there are multiple talks regarding the upcoming Apple event for October, and there are mixed reports as to whether this will push through, especially with unknown happenings with the company. Some claim that this October 2022's Apple event would not likely happen according to MacRumors and Mark Gurman.
These contradicting claims are now confusing the public, particularly as they expect different things from Apple and its offers to the world.
The new report centers on an upcoming Apple event, and while it is already out of the usual dates, the information given corroborates the claim for the upcoming iPad and MacBooks this year. Still, Apple is one to break tradition with its past releases, with 2020's events that also included December, this year may also be full of surprises before its over.
