Slack, one of the most popular messaging platforms for offices, is experiencing technical issues.

Many users started complaining about the software on Thursday, Oct. 13. 

Although the issues are not really halting Slack's operations, consumers still shared their disappointments.

Many of them even concluded that the platform's data center problems caused the issues. 

"We are sorry for this inconvenience and are actively investigating. We will continue to share additional details as we know more," said Slack via Independent UK

Slack confirmed that Slack Threats, group DMs, Saved sections, as well as channels are affected by the technical issues.

But, the software company explained that some users may still be able to access their Slack Threads. The platform issues are not wide based on DownDetector's official report. 

The outage checker's chart showed that only hundreds of users (specifically 162) experienced technical difficulties. 

On the other hand, DownDetector said that 12% experience server connection problems, 34% have issues with their Slack apps, and 54% can't properly send and receive messages.  

What Can Slack Users Do? 

Since the issues are on the end of Slack, there's really not much that users can do. 

If you are among the affected consumers, it would be best for you to wait for the company's official fix for the technical problems. 

As of writing, Slack hasn't announced any solution yet. But, the software firm ensures that their users are always updated on their activities. 

The latest update provided by Slack was on Oct. 13 at 12:02 p.m. 

Its technical support said that they are still investigating the issues and will provide an update as soon as they have one.
