Many users experience the iPhone 14 Pro's battery drain problem, which really affects their smartphone experience.
Some iPhone 14 Pro owners believe Apple's always-on display technology causes this issue. Because of this, they tend to deactivate this feature.
However, ZDNet explained that turning this feature off will not help solve the annoying battery drain issue.
How to Fix iPhone 14 Pro Battery Drain Issue?
Enthusiasts already checked if the always-on display feature leads to iPhone 14 Pro's battery drain problem.

One of their tests is to activate the device's Airplane Mode and allow the always-on display feature. They will wait hours to see if the battery level will drop quickly.
After that, they will still activate the Airplane mode but will turn off the always-on display.
Based on this experiment, deactivating the always-on display feature makes a little different when it comes to improving the device's battery life.
Instead of turning off this functionality, your best option would be to do these two methods:
- Try using a power bank. Apple hasn't confirmed if iPhone 14 Pro really has a battery issue or if its battery life really drains fast.
- Activate your iPhone 14 Pro's Low Power Mode. This feature will turn off some features of your device, which can drastically extend its battery life.
Other Methods You Must Try
Aside from the two tips provided above, ESR Gear also shared other methods you can try to prevent your iPhone 14 Pro's battery from draining too fast.
Remember that these tricks are not 100% efficient. Although this is the case, there's no harm in trying them:
- Try putting the iPhone 14 Pro in a facedown position.
- Reduce the applications running in iPhone 14 Pro's background.
- When indoors, try lowering your device's screen brightness.
