Alef Aeronautics revealed a new prototype earlier today, and it centers on a drivable car that can also take off and fly to the air with ease, something which one may only see in movies. The prototype is called the "Model A," and it centers on a new vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicle that is capable of journeying the land and air for a driver's needs.
The new flying car from Alef aims to debut a car that is fitting for today's road infrastructure, fitting to use in modern times.

Alef Aeronautics unveiled their latest Model A flying car that centers on street driving and has capabilities to take off from its spot and fly to the air. The company also unveiled its prototype for this flying vehicle, and one would not mistake it for a VTOL vehicle as it looks like any other vehicle on the streets, with its design that takes on the modern car look.
The company already opened preorders for the first flying car, with only $150 for the regular queue and $1,500 for the priority queue over at Alef's website.
Alef said that it aims to debut the first releases of its flying cars by Q4 2025, three years away from now, and the world sees its first flying car that is street-legal.

What Does the Model A Do?
The Model A flying car is an electric vehicle with a distributed electric propulsion system and no exposed propellers. The car features a drivable range of 200 miles, while it promises to deliver 110 miles of flight with its batteries.
Alef said that it brings also extensive software for flight stabilization and safety system, elevon stabilization system, and all-wheel driving.
Flying Cars and eVTOLs
Traffic is a massive problem on the roads today, especially as there is a clear sign of congestion on major roadways and cities due to the increasing number of vehicles that travels daily. With that, there are many developers which aim to deliver VTOLs to the world, where they can take off on the spot, not needing a runway for their flight.
Many car companies aim to debut eVTOLs as well, being the electric version of the vehicle for clean energy options.
There are two automotive developers already looking to debut their eVTOLs. One is Hyundai's Supernal eVTOL which resembles a massive helicopter, with plans for its commercial use soon.
On the other hand, the German automobile manufacturer, Volkswagen, also unveiled its "Flying Tiger"eVTOL that will soon arrive for the public, and it looks like an aircraft.
And while many already designed or debuted a prototype of a car's body that can fly, the market for this still needs legitimate ones that will deliver an actual working vehicle that can demonstrate its capabilities. Alef aims to deliver that with the Model A, a flying car that the company recently unveiled their latest prototype.
