Oppo Find N2 Specs Leaked: Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Processor and 120Hz AMOLED Folding Screen Display

With foldable screens becoming a thing again, the Oppo Find N2 specs were revealed ahead of its launch, including a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and 120Hz AMOLED folding screen display.

Oppo Find N2 Specs have been Leaked Online by Tipster

As the Samsung foldables have started to bring foldable smartphones back to style, other companies like Oppo are entering the space. Oppo is doing this with its Find N2; before its launch, its specs were already leaked online.

According to the story by Pocket Lint, the Oppo Find N2 is a follow-up to the Oppo Find N, which is expected to launch alongside a rumored Oppo flip phone. The new leak explains what Oppo will change between the N and N2 versions.

Tipster Posted the Leaked Specs on Weibo, Including Processor and Display

Tipster Digital Chat Station posted the leak on Weibo, which included a few details starting with the expected chip the device will use. As per the leak, Oppo will be using the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, an upgrade from its previous Snapdragon 888 processor.

The new device will also be packing a 7.1-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED folding screen, similar to what users can find on the original Oppo Find N. Other details leaked for the upcoming device include a faux leather back to add detail to the smartphone.

Oppo Find N2 Operating System and Color Options

The software is expected to be handled by ColorOS 13 on top of its Android 13 operating system. There will also be a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which will take its place "as part of the power button."

As for the color options, buyers can choose from black, white, and green. So far, even the tipster doesn't know when the upcoming Oppo Find N2 will be available for the public.

Find N2 to Pack a 4,520mAh Battery and a Folding Screen

The tipster notes that the Find N2 is already in production, so this could mean that its official launch might not be extremely far away. However, this is also no assurance that the smartphone will be available outside of China right away.

In an article by GSM Arena, the device was said to carry a 4,520mAh battery and a foldable screen. The horizontal folding will allow users to have a more square-sized screen that turns the smartphone into a tablet.

Smartphone is Capable of a Wider Display with Its 7.1-inch Foldable Screen

The 7.1-inch display is already quite big compared to other smartphones, and since it is foldable, users will have even more screen space for the upcoming Oppo Find N2.

It is also important to note that Oppo has not verified the specs released from the leak. Due to this, buyers should still take the specs with a grain of salt since the company has not completely confirmed them.
