If you're anything like Jamie Chirio, a go-getter at heart with a relentless work ethic, you have experienced equal parts frustration and confusion to find a fulfilling career in a world filled with shiny objects and get-rich-quick schemes. Too often, people jump from thing to thing looking to strike gold without taking the time to mine, especially in their infant stages of Entrepreneurship. Jamie was no outlier.

In his early 20s, Jamie was introduced to the business world while going to university for Marketing. He stumbled into the direct sales industry, and within 2 years he built a team of 1000s worldwide, earning multiple 6 figures. Never did it cross Jamie's mind that he would wake up one day and have it all stripped from him, but due to circumstances out of his control, that's exactly what happened.

Jamie then went a different route and started a traditional business in the Digital Marketing space. The company gained traction quickly, doing over $1,000,000 in a year. Despite the success "on paper", after sharing profits with 4 partners and 3 employees while working 80 hours a week as the Chief of Operations, the juice wasn't worth the squeeze.

Jamie described this time period to us as "Living the dream on the outside, but living a nightmare on the inside", having filed for bankruptcy and losing everything from a string of decisions trying to make it back to the top.

It wasn't until he realized that his past accomplishments meant nothing and he wasn't owed anything from anyone. There were no shortcuts. It was time to get back in the trenches. But this time...he was going to do it right.

Ultimately, Jamie stepped away from that company to find something that would provide enough for his family, and the little one he had on the way.

"I don't think anyone wakes up when they are young and thinks, 'I want to be an insurance agent when I grow up'.", says Jamie. But after watching an old mentor thrive in the insurance industry, Jamie swallowed his pride and decided to get his insurance license. He's been thanking God ever since.

In Jamie's first year as a full-time Insurance agent, he was inducted into the company's Insurance Hall of Fame for issuing over $400,000 worth of business in less than 12 months. Now 2 years into his career in the Insurance Industry, Jamie has written over $1,000,000 worth of insurance on his own pen, making him one of the highest personally performing agents in the entire company.

He is also the proud owner of Living Hope Life Group - an agency of over 200 active agents who issued $11,000,000 in business in 2022, with a goal to cover 50,000 families by the end of 2023. 

For Jamie, his choice to pursue Insurance was initially for the money, but it didn't take long for that to change. Now, it's about the impact this line of work creates - both for the families put in a better position for when the unthinkable happens, and for the agents who are serving them.

Jamie's mission is to continue to build an agency where agents are treated with respect, taught how to earn the success they desire, and empowered to help others do the same within their own agencies.
