Apple's Battery Health is one feature that the Cupertino giant introduced in March 2018, and it gave the world a chance to monitor the power cell capacity on their mobile devices. Some people get agitated over it, as their charging and usage almost immediately use it up or drop a percentage or two after the purchase of the device.

However, there is a proven and effective way to maintain Battery Health to 100 percent for years, and here's how to do it.

Shoandtech is a known TikTok video creator who talks about different technological advancements and provides Apple hacks for people to use in their daily lives. One of his famous videos talked about how he maintained his iPhone 12 Pro's battery health to 100 percent since he bought the device two years ago.

Shomes also said in the video that his iPhone 13 Pro which he bought in September 2021 also managed to maintain the device's maximum power capacity.

The main advice that he gave the public through his video is to never charge the iPhone overnight, as it strains the device's battery the most.

Apple iPhone Battery Life: Tips and Tricks

The TikTok content creator said that the optimized battery charging feature from Apple is not "as great as you think it is," and despite the technology, it can still provide a strain on the battery, leading to its deterioration.

He also regarded leaving it unplugged overnight especially when it is at 40 to 50 percent and waiting the following day before charging it. Additionally, Shomes recommended charging the iPhone when it warns of the 20 percent low battery notice when it turns red.

Also, charge the device until Apple's recommended percentage, which is 80 percent, not letting it fully charge.

Apple's iPhone Battery Health

For a long time now since iOS 11 and 12, Apple debuted Battery Health for users to check on the battery's peak performance capacity on their devices, and see if it needs a replacement immediately. Checking this information ensures that people maintain and keep tabs on their device's power cell, to get the most out of its performance.

However, it is a difficult percentage to maintain, especially as people have multiple perceptions of charging their batteries, having different methods and ways to do it.

The battery powers the device, and if it malfunctions, it will become a domino effect which will affect all other functions from working, as the source ceases to deliver.

Apple previously made it possible for people to replace their batteries as it introduced DIY kits earlier this year, and it is part of the company's adherence to the right-to-repair mandate.

One might think that this is just another TikTok hack that brings a new method for people to expand their Battery Health and may be ineffective for their devices. However, the user's testament to two years of 100% peak performance capacity is not an easy feat and proven to be effective based on their experiences with two Apple devices.
