And it turns out that the combined subscribers of Disney Plus, ESPN Plus, and Hulu outperform Netflix.

Disney Releases Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu Subscriber Count

As per the latest news story by Tech Crunch, the giant entertainment conglomerate has revealed the number of subscribers of its streaming services in various parts of the world.

The media conglomerate reports that Disney+ currently has roughly 164.2 million subscribers globally. It is a significant increase from its number of subscribers in the previous quarter.

Tech Crunch notes in its story that in the third quarter of the 2022 fiscal year, the giant streamer only had 152.1 million subscribers. The news outlet did the math, and it turns out that Disney+ gained around 12 million new customers.

Meanwhile, it is worth mentioning that Disney was only expecting its flagship streamer to add roughly 9.35 new subscribers. But it turns out to be around 3 million more than what it initially predicted.

On the other hand, its sports-focused streaming service, ESPN Plus, now rocks more than 24 million subscribers. It is a slight bump from its previous figures. The sports streamer used to only have around 22.8 million subscribers.

The other streaming platform of Disney, Hulu, only received about 1 million new subscribers. Thanks to the slight increase, it now has 47.2 million customers.

But it is worth noting that Netflix still boasts a staggering 222.09 million subscribers from various parts of the globe. With that said, it appears that Disney+ still lags behind the giant steamer that brought us "Stranger Things" and "Squid Game."

However, the combined subscriber numbers of Disney across its streaming services easily trample Netflix.
