Instagram Web Gets a New Look

While Instagram sports a mobile app for both iOS iPhone and Android users, it also has a webpage. It allows its users to access the platform without downloading any additional software. Not to mention that it also enables desktop users to keep themselves updated on Instagram.

Initially, the desktop version only provides users with limited access. Features like posting photos and videos, as well as Stories, were previously not available.

But eventually, Meta started bringing these necessary features to Instagram Web.

This time, it looks like its website is growing to be a more user-friendly option.

As per the latest news story by 9to5 Mac, the Instagram boss, Adam Mosseri, announced the redesign of Instagram Web.

The IG head, Adam Mosseri touts that the new look is not just all about aesthetics. He says that it offers a more user-friendly overall experience to web users. Not to mention that the revamped Instagram Web is now faster to navigate than ever, according to Mosseri.

What's New on Instagram Web

First off, 9to5 Mac reports that the sidebar now includes the menus. But it still houses the tabs like Feed and Messages, which on mobile is found on the bottom.

Meanwhile, the right side of the interface now shows some suggestions of users that you might want to check out or follow.

According to a recent report by Mac Rumors, Mosseri said that they are looking to make the web version "as great of an experience as possible."

So it looks like Instagram is planning to also give its website some attention after seemingly neglecting it for years.

Its head also disclosed that the sidebar of its website now expands and or collapses whenever its users resize the window of their browser.
