A smartwatch is not only capable of measuring how your body behaves after doing strenuous tasks such as exercises and workouts. It's also capable of allowing you to engage in contactless payments. This means that you can now use RFID technology through your wearable gadget.

The age of physical payments is slowly fading away since nowadays, people prefer the most convenient mode of paying for products or goods.

Based on the report by XDA Developers on Wednesday, Nov. 16, Google says that Fitbit Sense 2 and Versa 4 users can now utilize Google Wallet support following the new update.

The Google Wallet feature is not the only perk that they are getting this week. Aside from that, they can start utilizing Google Maps support which will let them see the map on their wrists.

  • Vietnam
  • Thailand
  • Malaysia

Paying for goods and services is now made easier for people who always use digital wallets for transactions. Securing your payment in just a single flick of your wrist will do the magic for every cashless process that you will do in the future.

Why Google Wallet is Famous in Other Countries

Google Wallet has also reached Japan by rolling out its availability for public transportation pay. The report says that this support is also applicable to Pixel Watch's Suica and other mobile gadgets.

That's not the only thing that you can do with Google Wallet. You can now pay for your mobile tickets through this app. It will also be helpful for travelers who are fond of using the cashless mode of payment for their flights.

The support covers select ticket centers in some countries including Australia's Oztix, Ticketek, and Humanitix, Thailand's Thaiticketmajor and Ticketmaster, and Germany's Cinemaxx.

Soon enough, Google will bring this multi-purpose authentication wallet to other nations that have missed its previous features. From merely becoming a Google Pay replacement, the Wallet app will make huge turn-arounds in the digital wallet competition.
