This year's most awaited Game Awards will reportedly feature a bonus screening of the Dead Space: Remake preview.

The annual Game Awards is an awards ceremony honoring achievements for several categories in the video game industry. Game journalist Geoff Keighley produces and hosts the shows, which debuted in 2014. The awards show is set to stream a live broadcast in 40 cities across North America.

Geoff Keighley recently announced that this year's Game Awards would have a partnership with IMAX. It will feature an exclusive "extended gameplay preview" of the upcoming Dead Space: Remake as a treat for gaming fans planning to attend the awards show screening, according to Gamespot.

IMAX to Screen 'Dead Space' Remake Gameplay Preview

Since the global pandemic has caused the last two Game Awards to settle with an online platform, this year's event will finally be hosted face-to-face at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles on Dec. 8 and 9, according to Games Hub.

EA announced an upcoming remake for the horror video game Dead Space which is set to release in 2023, according to Digital Trends. Additionally, the partnership with IMAX events will give gaming fans an alternative option to watch the event stream with a crowd experience in their local IMAX cinema.

Geoff Keighley and IMAX also revealed in their joint tweet announcements that audiences would be able to receive "other digital game goodies" with their tickets.
