Tesla CEO Elon Musk uses his mobile device as he sits in the car arriving to the construction site for the new plant, the so-called "Giga Factory", of US electric carmaker Tesla in Gruenheide near Berlin, northeastern Germany.

While its all-electric cars are highly capable, it has yet to support the music streaming service of the Cupertino-based iPhone maker.

But this time, iPhone users might be in for a treat anytime soon. It looks like Apple Music support is on its way to Tesla vehicles in the future updates of the Musk-owned tech behemoth.

Tesla Apple Music Support is Likely On its Way

As per the latest report by Teslarati, photos from the recent Tesla exhibit at the Petersen Automotive Museum highly suggest that the EV maker is finally gearing up to roll out its Apple Music support.

The exhibit of the automaker showcases its various EVs and their features. And one of the interesting revelations is what seems to be a sign that Apple Music is coming to its vehicles in a future software update.

But besides the surprising appearance of the streaming service support, the Tesla exhibit also showcased various prototypes of its EVs. The participants saw the prototypes of the Cybertruck all-electric pickup, the Tesla Semi, and the Roadster 2.0.

Despite the presence of these interesting prototypes, the appearance of Apple Music support seemingly stood off for some.

The Twitter account that goes by the name Not a Tesla App shared a photo from the Petersen Museum, showcasing what looks to be a working Apple Music support. The tweet notes that it "was reportedly found running on a vehicle" in the exhibit.

A Twitter user, Aaron Cash, responded to the tweet, saying that he took the photos that showcased the much-awaited support for the streaming service.

When is Apple Music Coming to Tesla EVs?

According to a news story by Apple Insider, the support for the music service for Tesla EVs was first teased nearly two years ago.

Back in December 2020, a code referencing the support for Apple Music saw the light of day in the software of the EV maker. However, several months have passed, and it remains to be unavailable.

However, another sign that hints at its arrival appeared in the recent exhibit of the giant automaker.

Despite that, Apple Insider notes in its story that it does not necessarily mean it is arriving anytime soon. Yet, it sure hints that it might be in the works to reach the next update.
