Green Ranger

Jason David Frank's debut as Tommy Oliver all started with the villain Green Ranger. The mighty green ranger was proven to be insanely powerful after taking on and defeating the five rangers at the start of his character arc.

However, what made his first persona so interesting is that he later became an anti-hero after Rita Repulsa released him from her control in "Green with Evil," and joined forces with the rangers as their sixth member. Despite being one of the longest-running characters in the series, there may still be some interesting facts you have not discovered about this version.

Additionally, Screenrant reveals that while his character's appearance was not meant to last on the show, he became surprisingly popular with fans, leading him to become a mainstay in the franchise.

Black Dino Thunder Ranger

Power Rangers fans may have thought they had seen the last of Tommy Oliver after Jason David Frank left the show after seven years. However, the legend reprises his role on Power Rangers Dino Thunder as a high school teacher and mentor to the new Power Rangers team.

Tommy, later on, steals the thunder after joining in on the action as the Black Dino Thunder Ranger, where he dons gold shoulder pads and an awesome detailed helmet compared to the other rangers.

White Ranger

After Tommy Oliver's Green Ranger powers were destroyed in the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Zordon granted Tommy the powers of the Tigerzord, which led him to become the White Ranger alongside the team.

Despite the White Ranger being his new persona, he is dubbed as the strongest "Sixth Ranger" of all time, in addition to becoming the new team leader, according to Collider.

Red Turbo Ranger

Jason David Frank's performance in Power Rangers Turbo as the Red Turbo Ranger looks undeniably cool even up to now as he controlled the race car Zord alongside his ranger team to form the Turbo Megazord.

However, what makes this ranger persona a part of the top five is his upgraded suit design with more details to his helmet, before his original Red Ranger design in previous seasons.

Lord Drakkon

Finally, the persona that Power Rangers fans have been missing out on but still deserves a feature is Tommy Oliver's version of Lord Drakkon.

Tommy Oliver once again becomes a villain in this version, as Lord Drakkon is an older version of him from an alternate dimension set to battle the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers on Earth.

Unfortunately, Lord Drakkon was not able to grace the screen as his only appearance was on the BOOM Studios' comic book series, according to Gamespot.
