Nintendo and Illumination's Animated Mario Movie

Last October saw the first trailer of "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" from Nintendo and Illumination, centering on the animated film that will bring the video game franchise to the big screens. It features the voice of famous Avenger and Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt, to portray the game's lead character, the loveable and favorite, Super Mario.

However, the initial trailer centered on limited elements of the movie, with only a teaser for the public regarding Pratt's Mario, and Jack Black's King Bowser.

At first, there was only speculation regarding Chris Pratt joining the movie as its lead, especially as the public is looking for more of an Italian heritage to portray the plumber. Nevertheless, initial speculations also pointed to him playing the character, but people were torn regarding the reboot being live-action or animated.

Now that the movie was confirmed and features two trailers already, people are only left to wait for the film's release, with the studios and developers claiming that it would arrive by Easter 2023.
