Apple unveiled the new iPhone 14 as well as new versions of the Apple Watch, including the Apple Watch SE, a low-cost version of the popular timepiece that will start st $249.

The false trigger is quite alarming as the iPhone 14 feature reaches out to 911 to report that someone needs help. But instead, they are simply on a thrill ride.

The Verge notes in its report that the said function contacts emergency services when it thinks that the iPhone users figures in a car crash.

However, it is worth mentioning that it remains to be seen if the "optimization" addresses these false alarms. Apple only stated that it optimized the Crash Detection feature, but the specifics are still unclear.

Despite that, Mac Rumors suggests that the "optimization" likely involves the mistaken alerts in amusement parks.
