"Halo Infinite" is hardly a Christmas game, but this year, thanks to a Forge map by Bearskopff, it might be one's go-to experience to live their "Die Hard" holiday spirits with the new location representing the famous "Nakatomi Plaza."

This fictional building is where John McClane rescued an entire office party and rekindled the magic with his ex-wife on Christmas.

Gamers are given a chance to have standoffs, shootouts, and an all-out brawl in the new location called "Faux Plaza," which is reminiscent of the fictional building from the 1988 film.

PCGamesSN reported that a user named "Bearskopff" created one of the most iconic buildings in pop culture history for Christmas, and it is not the Rockefeller Center, but rather, the Nakatomi Plaza from "Die Hard."

In "Halo Infinite," there is a new location via the Forge map called "Faux Plaza," and this is the almost-exact replica of the fictional building.

The Nakatomi Plaza is famous for being the central location in the Christmas classic movie where John McClane infiltrated a corporate party that was overtaken by German terrorists led by Hans Gruber.

Sadly, the Forge map does not include the likes of McClane (played by Bruce Willis) and Gruber (portrayed by the late Alan Rickman) in the game.

Faux Plaza Also Offers 'The Hard Mode' to Re-Experience the Film

"Die Hard" fans may remember McClane's struggle to infiltrate the Nakatomi Plaza and take out the terrorists alone, without any backup or help. Bearskopff also wanted to replicate this experience with a matching "The Hard Mode," which gamers may opt to toggle when playing on the Faux Plaza.

This mode ups the stakes a notch by changing the bot difficulty, with the creator claiming to deliver a "more cinematic experience," perfect for a Christmas shootout.

'Halo Infinite' and Microsoft's Influence

"Halo Infinite" will soon celebrate the game's first anniversary on December 8, and it is one of the most prolific games on the Microsoft distribution platform, exclusive for the Xbox consoles and the PC.

A month after the game's public release, it already recorded surpassing 20 million players engaging in the first-person action shooter experience, the biggest number in the franchise.

The game continues growing with its player base, as well as its offers to the public, including new seasons, content, skins, weapons, settings, and more.

It is one of the most successful games in Microsoft's history, centering on its gaming department's focus on Xbox, upgrading previous experiences to adhere more to what gamers demand from the game. August's "Halo Infinite" Season 2, a.k.a. the Lone Wolves, also introduced its highly-demanded co-op campaign to complete its canon story with friends and other teammates.

Bearskopff's latest Forge map introduced the Faux Plaza for gamers to enjoy, one that centers on a pop culture icon for action fans on Christmas day. "Die Hard's" fictional Nakatomi is now accessible on "Halo Infinite," awaiting for gamers to go out in a 'guns-a-blazing' fashion, paired with "The Hard Mode" to complete the experience.
