Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG Guide: How To Unlock All TCG Cards

Here's how to get some of the best Genshin Impact TCG character and monster cards in the game.

With the recent release of HoYoverse's Genshin Impact 3.3 update, the highly anticipated Genius Invokation TCG finally arrives as a new game feature.

Familiar faces and items will make their appearance in the addictive trading card game that has shaken the world of Teyvat, where you can collect unique cards, form a deck with the best team comp, and fight opponents at the table.

Use the Casket of Tomes item in your inventory's gadget tab to evaluate your deck or create a new one. Find matches nearby by using the same tool. To view the opponent's name and the match awards, click on the blue card symbols on the map.

Get Starter Cards Through 'Come Try Genius Invokation TCG!' Quest

Before you can even start competing in Genius Invokation TCG, players will need to finish the world quest titled 'Come try Genius Invokation TCG!' and finish the game tutorial.

A card duel will coincide with the quest, thus giving you a 3 Character and 33 Support Cards that serves as your starter card packs. Afterward, you will be able to get your first set of card decks upon progressing through the Genius Invocation World Quest.

Your first three characters cards include the following:

Diluc
Kaeya
Sucrose

Once you pass the Cat Tail's test and win your third match, players will also get a free Fischl character card, according to Game8.

How to Get Genshin Impact TCG Character Cards: Friendly Farcas

Players in the Genshin Impact TCG must first obtain a "Match Invitation Letter" in order to receive character cards. Once you have the necessary item, go to the Cat's Tail Tavern's wall-mounted billboard near the entrance and select "Invite Character".

One Genshin Impact character per Match Invitation Letter may be invited to the Cat's Tail Tavern for "Friendly Farcas", and Travelers will get the appropriate character card if they triumph over that character in a TCG match.

However, if players succeed in finishing the battle's other objectives, they will also receive the character's Talent card. So before engaging in an invited character duel, make sure to complete all of the tasks, as getting the Talent cards is essential to bringing out the best in the character's skillset.

Obtain Monster Cards For Genshin Impact TCG

Players in the Genshin Impact TCG must complete the Tavern Challenge in order to receive monster cards. Talk to Prince, sitting on the Cat Tail's bar counter, to begin the battle.

Similar to character cards, if the Genshin Impact monster is defeated in the duel, the corresponding monster cards will be awarded, and if the extra missions are completed, the monster's Talent cards will be awarded.

According to Gamerant, each Monster card unlocks at these player levels:

Oceanid: Lvl. 3
Fatui Agent: Lvl. 4
Mirror Maiden: Lvl. 5
Stonehide Lawachurl: Lvl. 6
Maguu Kenki: Lvl. 7
Jadeplume Terrorshroom: Lvl. 8

While monster cards perform the same tasks as character cards, they cannot use Genshin Impact weapons. In addition, they contain unique and more complex abilities that players can utilize for a better team comp.
