Before, the Upgrade+ was only available for MacBook Air and MacBook Pro units. Now, Best Buy announced that this finance program has been expanded.
Thanks to this effort, the Apple Upgrade+ now includes Mac Studio and iMac computers.
"With the expansion available starting today, Upgrade+ customers can now also apply for financing to purchase a select iMac or Mac Studio desktop computer," said Best Buy via its official press release.
Best Buy-Apple Upgrade+ Program Expands!
According to 9To5Mac's latest report, the Upgrade+ program expansion finances consumers who are interested to purchase an iMac.

The retailer will allow them to pay for the computer in installation, which is $28.17 per month. They are required to pay this amount for the next 36 months.
On the 37th month, they are required to settle the remaining amount, which is $286. This pricing was based on the original cost of the iMac; $1,299.99.
If you will compute the details above, the installation payment mode is almost the same as buying the iMac in cash.
This also works the same with Mac Studio computers:
- A Mac laptop from $19.99/month for 36 months and the $280.35 final payment is due in the 37th month. Based on an original price of $999.99.
But, if you no longer want to pay the amount for the 37th month, Best Buy said that you can upgrade your purchase to a newer model.
You can do this by returning the qualified product and remaining on the Upgrade+ program.
How to Apply to Upgrade+?
Best Buy explained that the Upgrade+ program is available through Citizens Pay. To apply, all you need to do is follow the steps below:
- First, open your Citizens Pay account and click the "Add & Check Eligibility." Choose the item you want to purchase.
- After that, just follow the instructions provided to complete your eligibility check with Citizens Pay.
- After a few seconds, you will receive an eligibility decision from Citizens Pay.
- If you're qualified, you can review the terms, submit the application and complete your purchase.
Aside from partnering with Best Buy, Apple is also quite busy with its other business operations.
