Twitter recently rolled out the promised feature that Chief Twit revealed for the world, and it is with the new 'Impressions' that bring further information centering on the view counts. However, the only downside for mobile users is that it brings a two-liner to show a person's tweet statistics, which is not appealing to some members of the platform.

With that, the tech CEO claims that there will be an upcoming UI improvement by January to bring an improved look to the view counts.

View counts recently dropped on the platform, and instead of seeing success with its revelation, people noticed the change it brought to the mobile platform. A tech reviewer claimed that there could be improvements for its two-liner display, as Twitter could opt for changing its wordings into icons (400k views to an appropriate symbol to represent it).

And as per the usual suggestions made by Twitter users, it was heard by the billionaire owner, who claimed that UI improvements are coming soon to better Impressions on the platform.

The change will take place by January 2023, but Musk did not dive deep into what will change on the Twitter platform, especially for the mobile space.

This also comes after a poll regarding the view counts, with Musk asking where it should be placed.

Twitter Rolls Out View Counts, Users Find it Unattractive

Twitter also has view counts available on its web platform, but people do not have any problem with it as it stays in a one-liner display.

However, it is not the same story for the mobile as people find it awkward to have a two-liner display, and is both on the lower left side of the tweet.

Elon Musk and Twitter 2.0 Changes

Being an old platform with a new leader in this modern age is bound to see many changes online, and with Elon Musk's promises to bring new features on Twitter 2.0. One of the claims from the tech CEO is that view counts are as much important as like and retweet engagements, with the feature already available on the platform.

And while this feature is already available for pages, businesses, and professional profiles on Instagram and Facebook, Twitter recently brought this for the world to see.

Previously, this feature is available on videos shown on the platform, but it is expanding for text, images, or gif tweets to provide users with more information.

Additionally, Twitter 2.0 aims to bring a slur of new improvements to the platform like the improved $8 verification feature under its Blue subscription, and the encrypted DMs it aims to develop.

The good thing about Musk's patronage of the platform is that there are decisions that he consults the public with, as well as his engagements with its users, revealing new updates to the social media. Despite Twitter delivering view counts, people were not that pleased with how it looks, as it was awkward for some, with UI improvements coming soon to deal with the matter.
