The telecom giant said that the fix is expected to be released on January 5, 2023. But, Virgin Media said that they are working to fix them as soon as possible.

When it comes to issues, 5% of the users are having problems with their TVs, 13% of them are experiencing a total blackout, and 83% suffer from landline and internet issues.

Troubleshooting Methods

If you can't wait for the official fix, Virgin Media said you could try troubleshooting methods to solve your internet problems.

However, these are not 100% efficient, especially since an outage causes the latest issues. Here are some of them:

  • Try rebooting the WiFi Hub. You can do this by turning it off and on multiple times.
  • Try restarting your device if only one gadget is having internet connection issues.
  • Try disconnecting your internet. After that, reconnect your device to the WiFi using the network name and password on the Hub.
  • Try resetting your WiFi Hub's settings.
