Honda will recall over 200,000 hybrid vehicles due to issues with brake pedal sensors, as reported by Reuters. The brake pedal sensors are available in some models.

The 105,608 hybrid vehicles manufactured between October 8, 2017 and September 7, 2020, by Dongfeng Motor Group Co. would be recalled. In addition, another 95,081 units from Honda's manufacturing partnership with Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. were manufactured between August 27, 2018 and August 6, 2020. 

The recall will start from March 31, 2023.

Vehicle Recalls: The Biggest One in History

1. Volkswagen (2015)

Volkswagen AG is a German automotive concern. On September 18, 2015, it announced a recall of 11 million vehicles of VW, Porsche, and other brands, which will cost about US $7.3 billion for the company.

The recall was caused by intentionally manipulative software installed in diesel-powered Volkswagens and Audis to fool regulators in emissions testing, in violation of numerous international, United States, and California laws, and without disclosure to U.S. regulators. 2. GM (2014)

General Motors is an American automaker and the world's largest automaker measured by both sales and fleet volume. 

GM Holdings announced a recall of 3.16 million vehicles worldwide for a faulty ignition switch. The faulty ignition switches caused more than 100 crashes and at least 13 deaths. The recall started on February 7, 2014.

The recall was mainly for Chevrolet and Pontiac cars from model years 2000 through 2002 and 2003. However, the action included certain models from Cadillac, Saturn and Hummer, as well.
