Tesla recently shared the news about its last quarter of 2022 performance, claiming that there are over 405,000 electric vehicle deliveries it was able to make for its global market. It is a record-breaking number for Tesla, something that beats its previous record for 2021 and is enough for the clean energy company to celebrate. 

However, this is not something that Wall Street analysts are not impressed with, especially as they had a larger number in mind for the company's EVs.

Tesla's latest press release detailing the company's Q4 2022 for its investors and the public, claimed that it delivered a total of 405,278 electric vehicles worldwide. It is a massive achievement for Tesla, especially in the last three months of 2022 performance which managed to produce its deliverables in time before the year's end. 

Additionally, Tesla's performance managed to beat its previous record in 2021, with a new record-breaking high for the company's EV deliveries. 

It is a massive achievement for Tesla and a win for the company as it attained its target number of EVs for the world in its current production rate.

Wall Street Analysis for Tesla

Despite the record-breaking deliveries and production of the company, Wall Street analysts were not that impressed with its current numbers. It is due to the previous release of expectations from the analysts that expected a higher number of deliveries from the company, as much as 417,957 deliveries from the company that it did not reach.

The famous clean energy company from Elon Musk saw a mix of good and bad this year, and this is because of the many controversies that surrounded its autonomous driving features. This entails both the Autopilot and Full-Self Driving features of the electric car, with different reports regarding crashes and faulty systems for the system.

Still, the company's promise for a 4680 structural battery already saw significant progress for its production and deliveries to its current fleet. The latest information here centers on its capabilities to produce 1,000 EVs per week, with its new production rate to help the company deliver cars with a powerful power source faster. 

Tesla saw a mixed perception in 2022 for its electric vehicles and their performance in the market, and despite that, the company managed to deliver more than 405,000 EVs. The company may not have met the projected number for its EV deliveries, but it still is a win for them as it set a new record for the company's 4th quarter deliveries.
