A Tesla owner decides to trade his Model S car for a Chrysler after he experienced some problems regarding the company's service.

According to a report by Western Journal on Tuesday, Jan. 3, a Redditor who goes by the name Jack B. has finalized his decision to switch to another EV brand that will give him less headache.

While some people are fascinated by Tesla cars, a Reddit user seems to be carefree about these comments.

After the car swap, he said that getting the Chrysler 300 has made him happier than before.

For two years, the man has been using the Tesla Model S. However, he officially ditched the car and stopped adding upgrades to the model.

Why the Man Trades His Tesla EV For Chrysler 300

There are specific reasons why man hated the Tesla car. Despite its excellent over-the-air updates and parts, Jack said that the vehicle exhibits poor quality in general.

As such, he felt that it further needed improvements. He noticed that the Tesla Model S has no buttons, and no engine sound and the interior gives him discomfort.

Beyond that, he was disappointed with how Tesla handled customers' concerns.

"The carpet is like something you'd find in a Corolla, the panel gaps are as bad as everyone says, the screen was yellowing after 2 years, and the replacement parts are hard to get and extremely expensive ($1k and 3 months for a cracked mirror)!"

According to Jalopnik, Jack knew that FCA had a lot to offer especially for its Chrysler models. At that time, he concluded that he won't be using Tesla anymore after witnessing the issues.

Despite his hate towards the American automaker, Jack still thought that Tesla is already an established name in the auto industry. He added that nobody else will come close to the company.

Moreover, he pointed out that Tesla also has several promos for its customers including a mobile app and a free charging perk.

EVs continue to gain popularity this year and no one could stop them. The trend for all-electric cars is projected to boom in the next few years since many people prefer to purchase gasless models.
