Each year, Apple Watch Ultra keeps impressing fans with its advanced features. From health-tracking systems to crash-detection capability, the company's smartwatch remains a quick grab among techies.

The latest report reveals that Jeff Pu, a tech research analyst from Haitong Intl, shares some information about the upcoming model of the smartwatch.

He says that the 2024 variant is expected to come with a Micro LED, which can potentially surpass OLED. Aside from that, it is allegedly arriving with a bigger screen and better battery.

According to Jeff Pu, the Cupertino giant could launch a next-gen Apple Watch Ultra with more advanced set of features.

Apple has established its name in the smartwatch business through its Apple Watch releases. Some of them remain impressive even after some years, but still, you can score a bunch of perks if you always buy the most recent model.

Last year, Apple Watch Ultra emerged as one of the most appealing units that have been launched so far.

The iPhone maker managed to attract a huge pool of customers because of the two new features: the Crash Detection feature and the body temperature sensor. However, some fans still demand that Apple should add more improvements in the future.

In a report by 9to5Mac, Jeff Pu claims that Apple Watch sales will significantly decline this year because the company won't roll out "significant spec upgrades."

This means it might take some time before fans see a revamped version of the famed Apple Watch Ultra.

Micro LED Will Be the Highlight

Pu says that the tech titan is allegedly working on a special model which will have a micro-LED, a better version of the existing OLED.

The upgraded display technology is said to yield higher color accuracy and higher brightness levels for the wearable device.

Despite the fact that it's better than OLED, the main issue for the microLED will be its cost. 9to5Mac mentions in its report that it's much more expensive than the mini LED and OLED.

Outside its improved screen, Pu discloses that Apple will unveil the Apple Watch Ultra in 2024. This smartwatch could get a bigger display at 2.1 inches. The previous model only sports a 1.93-inch screen.

Can We See Updates For Apple Watch Ultra This Year?

Since Apple has not yet confirmed the Watch Ultra 2024 model, we should take this report with a grain of salt. The company also remains tight-lipped about the potential specifications of the Watch Ultra 3 at this moment.

Some reports say that the tech giant could bring blood and pressure and blood glucose level sensors for the Apple Watch Ultra. However, we think these features won't arrive anytime since we haven't yet received confirmation from a reputable source.

According to Gizchina, the only event that might tell us about this smartwatch is the annual release schedule for the Watch lineup.
