Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is Now Sold Out

The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is now out of stock, as per a report by Phone Arena. And as such, brand-new units of the foldable device are no longer available across various retailers, such as Best Buy and Amazon.

Initially, the Surface Duo 2 was out of stock in giant retailers, except for Best Buy, which offered it for a discount. After a while, the shelves of the tech retailer got swept off the Microsoft foldable as well.

Instead, online platforms like Amazon and eBay only offer it in used condition.

So if you are looking to buy one yourself, the best you could do is go ahead with a second hand. Or perhaps wait for a restock.

Production Has Seemingly Ended

However, it looks like the Remond-based tech giant has ended its production. With that, it will likely remain sold out in the next couple of days or weeks.

According to a news story by Windows Central, it seems that Microsoft has no plans to produce more units of the Surface Duo 2.

It is worth mentioning that the stocks of foldable devices started diminishing over the holidays. It has been out of stock in various retailers across the globe since December 2022 with only limited supplies in select stores.

But this time, Phone Arena reports that the Surface Duo 2 is completely out of stock in giant retailers.

The spokesperson of Microsoft spoke to Windows Central to give an update on the availability of its foldable.

However, the tech giant did not address speculation that the production took its final curtain call.

Microsoft says that it is aware that "supply is currently falling short of demand in several markets."

Furthermore, the firm notes that "while we do not have inventory information to share at present, Surface Duo remains an important part of the Surface portfolio."
