Two is better than one and these US startups are making sure that they have the best of both worlds to create a completely new, unique aircraft that would revolutionize the industry.

Florida-based company Node Air has announced its collaboration with JetX to build a new type of aircraft employing the former's modular transportation system and JetX's Vector Thrust Propulsion.

"The result will be something completely new, overtaking, unique, and revolutionary in this starting industry," Node Air wrote in its press release.

Modular Aircraft

Interesting Engineering explains that a modular aircraft can be easily modified or reconfigured based on the particular requirements of a flight.

This can entail changing the configuration of the seats, the amount of cargo space, or even the fuselage's design. A modular airplane is intended to be as flexible and adaptable as while also lowering the maintenance expenses of various specialized aircraft.

Modular transportation technologies, which have already been used for boats and land vehicles, are Node Air's specialty. The company wants to increase the aviation industry's flexibility and efficiency by integrating this technology into the upcoming aircraft.

Interesting Engineering noted that an aircraft's modular design makes it simple to modify them to meet shifting passenger or cargo needs. For instance, airplane cabins can be quickly turned into cargo containers for cargo flights and into passenger seating for passenger flights without having to replace the entire aircraft.

Meanwhile, JetX is renowned for its Vector Thrust Propulsion technology. Its system is powered by both jet and rocket engines to attain unmatched speed and maneuverability. In addition to allowing for vertical takeoff, vector thrust propulsion technology can increase an aircraft's speed and thrust.

Node Air is also known for its autonomous transport technology, which aims to provide efficiency and productivity in the fields of military defense, healthcare, warehousing markets, postal service, and commercial transportation by decreasing the time needed to finish repetitive tasks.

However, there is still more room left for information regarding the specific components of the aircraft, its production date, and its debut launch. For now, all we know is that it will be powered by a modular transportation system and a vector thrust propulsion.

Brand-New Type of Aircraft

The two companies hope that with the combination of their technologies, the new aircraft will exceed the limits of performance and adapt to the needs of modern time.

This partnership is anticipated to result in the creation of a brand-new type of aircraft that can cater to the requirements of numerous industries, including air freight, military, and cargo transportation.

Both companies hope that future aviation travel may be significantly impacted by the creation of this aircraft.
