Apple released a Newsroom post earlier today, and it confirms the arrival of the latest iOS 16.3 by February for all users that can be updated to this latest release.

There are three main changes for the company to when it delivers iOS 16.3.

One is the upcoming Security Keys update that would allow users to use a physical authenticator for Apple ID logins, one that would add another layer of security for its two-factor authentication. However, Apple would not be selling any of the physical keys, and users would have to rely on accredited third-party resellers.

Apple's Black History Month Feature

One of the main focuses of the next update is Black History Month which Apple celebrates every February, and it aims to commemorate the contributions of African-American and African society to the world. There would be a Unity 2023 Watch face and Wallpaper coming to both the Apple Watch and iPhones by next month.

Moreover, Apple apps including the App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV+, and other services will highlight more of Black people's creations, with Cupertino providing a highlight for people to download.

Apple's iOS 16

One of the recent changes to the iOS 16 systems is the AirDrop connection limits that would only allow the "Everyone" feature turned on for only 10 minutes. After which, it would revert to the "Contacts Only" setting where people would have to change it every the time limit elapsed, which mainly started in China to avoid spreading political propaganda, as mandated by its government.

New features are coming this year for the iPhones and iPads, and there were previously confirmed and speculated updates arriving soon. One is confirmed to arrive by next month, and it is with the integration of the Security Keys that would require physical authenticators that will further enhance a person's two-factor authentication on their Apple devices.

With January soon ending and February fast approaching, Apple is already preparing for its rollout of the first operating system upgrade for this year. The iOS 16.3 will soon break ground and deliver new features for all to enjoy, alongside Apple's commemoration of Black History Month that aims to uplift the spirits of the African-American community in the country, and the world.
