Twitter Blue is now available for the Android operating system and people may now subscribe directly on their smartphones to the social media's services. This latest eligibility will now allow people to verify their identities and accounts on all devices present, with Apple's iOS first seeing this feature available on their platforms.

This also comes at a time when Twitter already increased its prices for the blue checkmark verification, now available for $11 per month, but there are still ways to save money on Twitter Blue.

Twitter Blue updated its support page which now confirms that the subscription service is accessible via the Android platform after a long wait. The premium Twitter experience went on a significant revamp of its offers and services after the chaotic experience during its first outing, after Chief Twit took over the platform and introduced subscription verification.

According to The Verge, the rollout of Android eligibility went live on Thursday, January 19, but the company did not announce this to the public and did it silently.

Still, for avid Twitter users that want to get the premium features, Twitter Blue is a significant option for them to get more priority on the News Feed, longer video uploads, and the famed blue checkmark verification.

How to Save $12 on Twitter Blue Subscription

Now that all of Twitter Blue's rollout is now available on mobile, its prices now center on $11 after the increase that it made to avoid paying the app store fees. Users may still save on subscriptions, by as much as $3 per month (around 30 percent) or $12 per year (around 12 percent).

To revert the fees to $8, Twitter users may signup for the verification via the web, and here, they can also grab the exclusive annual subscription fee for only $84, instead of the regular $96.

Twitter's Blue Subscription and Verification

Twitter introduced the Blue subscription experience to all users back in June 2021, and at first, it was not that big of a deal, as it centers on ad-free experiences and prioritization on the platform. Moreover, Twitter launched the "Labs" via the famed subscription service where users can try out different experiences on social media from its developers.

However, all of these changed when Elon Musk took over the company and gave Twitter Blue a new purpose and task for its run on the platform. Now, it centers as somewhat of a mandatory subscription platform for all users who want to get the coveted blue verification checkmarks, which initially costs $8 per month only.

With the price increase thanks to Apple and Google's 30 percent commission on its app-sharing platforms, Twitter Blue also adjusted its prices to get its full $8. The feature is now available on Android, but there is a way to get the subscription without costing them as much as $11 per month when paying via mobile.
