After months of rumors and speculations, Samsung's promising new flagship series, the Galaxy S23, has been made official and is available for preorder. The Galaxy S23 series is set to bring users immense performance improvements that have never been seen before on a Samsung mobile phone.

Samsung Upgraded Its RAM for the Galaxy S22 Series And Is Now Using the LPDDR5X Memory

According to the story by Giz China, with upgraded RAM, storage, and processor capabilities, Samsung has ensured that this phone can offer users an unparalleled experience in communications, entertainment, and business. The Galaxy S23 series comes with LPDDR5X memory, offering faster data rates than the previous Galaxy S21 Series and Galaxy S22 Series. 

Twitter tech blogger @iceuniverse confirmed that UFS 4.0 storage, with sequential writes speeds of up to 2800 bytes per second, will also be included with the new models. 

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and LTE Modem Are Expected to Make a Difference in the Device's Performance

The new gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, LTE modem cell, and new memory (LPDDR5X) and storage (UFS 4.0) setup that powers the Galaxy S23 series will make the phones faster in launching apps and running games. This device will also support many RAM and storage combinations. 

The reported pricing of the Galaxy S23 series in Samsung's home market, South Korea, has revealed that the basic model price will be 1.155 million won ($931) for the 256GB storage version and 1.276 million won ($1,029) for the 512GB version. The Galaxy S23+ with 256GB and 512GB of storage will cost 1.353 million won ($1,091) and 1.474 million won ($1,189), respectively.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Price Points Start at $1,290 Up to Almost $1,400 USD 

The 256GB version of the Galaxy S23 Ultra will cost 1,599,400 won ($1,290), and the 512GB version 1,720,400 won ($1,388). In the U.S., the starting price of the Galaxy S23 is speculated to be $799, much lower than in South Korea and other markets. Consumers can get an additional $100 discount if they pre-order. 

The Galaxy S23 series is the first flagship Samsung device to use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor worldwide. Although the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is the same processor as the one used in the OnePlus 11 and other Android phones, Samsung has been optimizing it for its own devices. 

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series has been long-awaited and finally arrives with immense changes compared to its past models. It is sure to be popular with tech enthusiasts and smartphone users and may surpass its predecessors in terms of quality, performance, and features.
