Apple has teamed up with Major League Soccer (MLS) to launch MLS Season Pass, a new subscription service. The latest service is intended to provide soccer fans with access to live games and exclusive content, which fans can access via the Apple TV app.

The service will be available in over 100 countries on various devices such as Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, set-top boxes, and game consoles.

A Treat for MLS Fans

The MLS Season Pass will allow fans to follow their favorite teams and players, with nearly 50 experienced broadcasters and former players ready to provide commentary in English, Spanish, and French, depending on the match.

The service will also include live pre-game, halftime, and post-game analysis and a five-hour "whip-around show." This will be the ultimate destination for MLS fans, offering the most comprehensive content lineup for soccer enthusiasts, including all MLS and Leagues Cup matches.

To find out more about the broadcast team for the MLS Season Pass, fans can go to the MLS website. The complete MLS Season Pass production schedule and the on-air broadcast team will be revealed soon.

Subscriptions to the MLS Season Pass are now available, with prices ranging from $15 per month or $99 for the season to $13 per month or $79 for Apple TV+ subscribers. The service will be free for MLS club season ticket holders, providing fans an excellent opportunity to follow their favorite teams more closely.

According to Engadget, Apple and MLS have a 10-year partnership, so the US league's matches will not be moving to another network or streaming service any time soon.

The 10-year contract includes some MLS NEXT Pro and MLS NEXT games and Leagues Cup games. The current rights holders for MLS games are ESPN, Fox Sports, and Univision, but their contracts will end after the campaign.

MLS Season Pass Perks

The MLS Season Pass will also include a selection of archived content and on-demand items, most of which will be free. Club highlights, player profiles, and full replays of classic matches will be available, as well as club-curated playlists and MLS-inspired playlists.

The collaboration with Apple is seen as a bold step forward for the growth of Major League Soccer. The service will provide fans with access to live games and exclusive content on various devices and is expected to help MLS grow domestically and internationally.

This is a huge win for soccer fans, who can now follow their favorite teams and players from anywhere in the world.

Apple recently added a new My Sports section to the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV with iOS 16, allowing users to follow their favorite clubs, teams, and leagues easily.

Fans can visit apple.co/MySportsMLS on iPhone or iPad to be directed directly to the Apple TV app, where they can follow their favorite Major League Soccer clubs, receive alerts before upcoming games, track scores in real-time, and much more.
